Shower at night - sunnys days

The conditions have continued to be good. The last 3 days we have had rain at night and then in the morning it is sunny and nice. The first of the surfing swell has arrived. Friday evening was a clean 1-1.5 foot and now this morning it is 2 foot and going to build once the tide goes out a bit. Looks like we are going to get a good week of surf from now. Yeha. The photo is before the swell - nice lines.

Perfect

The weather the last few days has been perfect. Clear blue skies, flat water and hot. Lanta is definitely in low season now. Klong Dao beach is almost deserted. It is a really peaceful time of year. It is a shame there are not more people around to appreciate the island now.

The full moon has seen big tides also. Rainfall on Lanta has been statistically much lower than all the other local regions, fromm 200 mm less than Phuket and Krabi. We seem to always get better weather here!

Songkran - Thai New Year

The weather is perfect again - the only water coming from the Songkran festivities. It has been hot and clear.
